Today is Tuesday

I have to constantly remind myself of what day it is. I am coming out of the post “vacation” haze to say it is impossible to return rested after 2 weeks with a toddler at home. I thought I would get so much work done and get ahead of deadlines. Instead, I barely slept and ventured out into the cold when I wanted to be warm in my bed. Still, I am full of love for my child but I am so tired. Now that he is back in school, I can prepare for the new year like everyone did last week. Still not getting any sleep but at least I have time to think.
